3 Ways to Vote this Election
Did you know there are three ways to vote in New Jersey? That’s correct. Registered voters can choose to vote at the polls on Election Day, Early In Person on specified days leading up to the election or via a mail-in ballot.
Whatever option you prefer, you must first be a registered voter. Unsure if you are registered to vote? Click here to find out. If you are not currently registered to vote and would like to, apply here. The deadline to register to vote is October 17, 2023.
Once you are registered you can vote one of these three ways:
Vote at the polls on Election Day, November 7.
Cast your ballot during in-person early voting days at your convenience using a voting machine. For the upcoming General Election, these dates are October 28 – November 5.
Vote-by-mail, with this option, you must first apply for a vote-by-mail ballot at Vote.NJ.gov or contact your County Clerk. You can VOTE, SIGN, SEAL and RETURN your ballot by mail, secure ballot drop box or at your Board of Elections Office.
Note: Vote-by-mail ballots cannot be returned to early voting locations or at the polls on Election Day.
