NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

PLANNING BOARD

 

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on September 8, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., the Borough of Saddle River Planning Board will conduct a virtual special meeting, which can be accessed using the instructions provided below. At this time, the known agenda items are as follows:

  1. Consideration of adoption of a 2020 Land Use Plan Element of the Master Plan which would amend the 2010 Land Use Plan Element of the Master Plan, to reflect the Settlement Agreement the Borough of Saddle River entered into on February 10, 2020, as amended by an Amendment to the Settlement Agreement entered into on June 9, 2020, which settled its Mount Laurel affordable housing declaratory judgment action; and

  2. Consideration of Ordinance No. 2020-1000, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 210 Zoning Ordinance of the Code of the Borough of Saddle River, New Jersey, Establishing a New Article XVI Entitled Affordable Housing District 3, and Amendment the Borough Zoning Map, to determine its consistency with the Master Plan of the Borough of Saddle River.

     

    In recognition of the declared COVID-19 public health emergency, the Planning Board is utilizing the Zoom meetings program, a cloud platform for video and audio conferencing across mobile devices, desktop computers, laptop computers and telephones, to conduct meetings in compliance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act. During the public hearing, any member of the public will have an opportunity to view the hearing in its entirety, ask questions and provide comments during the public portion of the meeting by logging in to the virtual meeting.
