NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

MAYOR AND COUNCIL

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on August 31, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., the Borough of Saddle River Mayor and Council will conduct a virtual special meeting, which can be accessed using the instructions provided below. At this time, the known agenda items are as follows:

1. Introduction of Ordinance No. 20-1000, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 210 Zoning Ordinance of the Code of the Borough of Saddle River, New Jersey, Establishing a New Article XVI Entitled Affordable Housing District 3, and Amendment the Borough Zoning Map;

2. Introduction of Ordinance No. 20-1001, An Ordinance Approving a Payment in Lieu of Taxes between the Borough of Saddle River and Saddle River Urban Renewal, LLC;

3. Consideration of a Resolution of the Borough Council of the Borough of Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, Determining the Need for a Proposed 11 Unit Affordable Rental Housing Development Project to be Located on Block 1601, Lots 10, 10.01, 11 and Block 1605, Lot 1; and

4. Consideration of a Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Developer’s Agreement between the Borough of Saddle River and The Michaels Company I, L.P.

    

   In recognition of the declared COVID-19 public health emergency, the Council is utilizing the Zoom meetings program, a cloud platform for video and audio conferencing across mobile devices, desktop computers, laptop computers and telephones, to conduct regular meetings in compliance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act. During the public hearing, any member of the public will have an opportunity to view the hearing in its entirety, ask questions and provide comments during the public portion of the meeting by logging in to the virtual meeting.
