Engineering

The Engineering Department of Saddle River is responsible for a broad spectrum of duties. These duties include, among other things, design and implementation of road improvements, storm and sanitary sewer maintenance and upgrades, traffic calming and any other engineering tasks that arise. The Department utilizes the services of outside consulting engineers as needed to complete design tasks. The Engineering department works with a consulting engineer, and an attorney that service both the Planning and Zoning Boards and two administrative personnel including the secretary of the two boards. Together the personnel function as a team to address a multitude of issues that arise daily.
