Required Permits
Permits are required for the following items:
- New homes, buildings or structures, as well as interior and exterior alterations;
- Swimming pools;
- Fences, stanchions, gates, pillars and posts;
- Drainage of ponds used for fire fighting purposes;
- Plumbing and septic tank changes and repairs;
- Raffles;
- Use of Municipal Building and Park facilities;
- Changes in occupancy and use of all business property;
- Removal or receipt of soil;
- Garage sales - such sales require an application for a license fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the sale. Only one garage sale is permitted at any one dwelling within a calendar year;
- Dogs - residents are permitted to keep a maximum of four (4) dogs per residence. Annual licensing by the Tax Collecting Office, between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm;
- Companies/Individuals performing landscaping services;
- Removal of trees;
- Alarm systems;
- Neighborhood Watch Program;
- Contractors/Construction;
- Tree removal.
