Required Permits

Permits are required for the following items:

  1. New homes, buildings or structures, as well as interior and exterior alterations;
  2. Swimming pools;
  3. Fences, stanchions, gates, pillars and posts;
  4. Drainage of ponds used for fire fighting purposes;
  5. Plumbing and septic tank changes and repairs;
  6. Raffles;
  7. Use of Municipal Building and Park facilities;
  8. Changes in occupancy and use of all business property;
  9. Removal or receipt of soil;
  10. Garage sales - such sales require an application for a license fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the sale. Only one garage sale is permitted at any one dwelling within a calendar year;
  11. Dogs - residents are permitted to keep a maximum of four (4) dogs per residence. Annual licensing by the Tax Collecting Office, between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm;
  12. Companies/Individuals performing landscaping services;
  13. Removal of trees;
  14. Alarm systems;
  15. Neighborhood Watch Program;
  16. Contractors/Construction;
  17. Tree removal.
