SADDLE RIVER VALLEY MUSIC ASSOCIATION, INC. (SRVMA)

The SRVMA, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1972 by a group of area residents who shared a common interest in music and wanted to provide an outlet for enjoyment by Bergen and Rockland County residents. The Association is comprised of two organizations, the Saddle River Valley Concert Band and the Saddle River Big Band. Saddle River Valley Concert Band Under the direction of Harley Streiff, Assistant Professor of Music at St. Thomas Aquinas College, the Concert Band performs a varied program of marches, classical and pop compositions, and medleys at indoor winter and spring concerts, as well as an ambitious summer schedule of area towns, organizations and events. Rehearsals are every Wednesday, commencing at 8:00 p.m. at the Cavallini School on West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River.
